Hello, I’m Heather. I’m a Cali girl at heart now living in Okinawa, Japan with my husband and two young children. I’m a graphic designer turned stay-at-home mom.

In a nut-shell, I am:

a fact finder;

a perfectionist;

a lover of all most foods;

completely obsessed with the blog world;

an avid reader;

addicted to sweets (I am going back to the gym next Monday);

and quiet (most of the time).

I can’t stand touching newsprint but love paper.

I want movies to have happy endings.

I have a bad case of, “ooh, I can make that!”

And I really enjoy hanging with friends, old and new.

Welcome to my blog. Kick your feet up and stay a while.

    Congratulations to your birthday and I wish you all the best. I don’t say a word here, which one it is… But I just passed this wall and it feels not that bad on the other side.
    I found you website a few weeks ago. Very nice.ReplyCancel

  • JANEL - You forgot 1 thing under ‘I am:’ Awesome. Glad to see you’re doing well and still being creative. You are one talented young lady and so glad our paths crossed in life. Wishing you all the best. If you ever pass through Macon, GA, I’d love to have coffee and chat.ReplyCancel

    • admin - Thanks Janel for your kind words. I will definitely look you up in GA if you look me up in FL!ReplyCancel

  • Libby Heilig - Heather,
    You are so talented! I am inspired–planning to do a summer checklist for my crew!ReplyCancel

    • Heather - Thanks Libby, I have modified the check-list several times to work with what my kiddos are doing. It is great tool and with the sticker/promotion the kids are eager to follow.ReplyCancel

  • Eliza - Your photography is breathtaking. I love the sea glass, and the cover photo of your family! I have so much to learn from you.ReplyCancel

    • Heather - Thanks Eliza, the cover image you are referencing (the black and white with three kids) is not my family. It is a photo I took of another family. I love to share what I know – Anytime.ReplyCancel

  • Laurie Lenertz - I would like to know if you ordered the lego thank you bags from somewhere or if you made them? My son is 18 and graduating in May. He has always loved and played with legos so when I saw those bags on Pintrest I thought they would be a fitting graduation party favor for his guests. I can be reached at my email address. Thanks, LaurieReplyCancel

    • Heather - Thanks Laurie for your interest. I have emailed you about how to purchase them. Thanks. :0)ReplyCancel
